I teach classes at Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA a couple times per year. It is always great to touch base with consumers to see what is really on their minds.
The take away from the class is that as an Owner you need to know the laws and fair housing. Take a great Fair Housing class through CAA (California Apt Assoc). www.caanet.org. I send all my employes to this class. It will keep you out of trouble on so many levels.
Second, document, document, document so that if you end up in court you are the one organized.
